The Get Rich Quick Scheme: Employee Spotlight on Tanya Campbell Tanya Campbell took it as far as she could. She strived. She reached. She tried to just relax and breathe deep. But here she was, stretched to her limits again! Why did she ever agree to do this?
“Yoga is not something I would ever go out and pursue on my own,” Tanya admits. But the opportunity to try it arrived during an employee wellness program implemented by the Payroll Department, Inc.
And two years later, Tanya still attends regular classes where she stretches, breathes deep, and strives to achieve more openness where her muscles might otherwise default to tension.
Of course, not everyone is so willing to try new things just because their employer suggests it. Consider how many groans you’ve heard spread through a break room whenever the company mandates a new policy or computer program!
Tanya, however, is no groaner. She started with the company fifteen years ago, expanding the staff from two to three! In all that time, she’d found PDI to be a reliable, trustworthy employer that always had her best interest at heart. (And anyone who has had the pleasure of working with her knows that Tanya is similarly reliable, trustworthy, and fully heartfelt!)
“PDI is built on good principles,” she notes.

The Campbell family.
Those solid principles translate into a joyful and supportive work environment where management embraces and enforces a topnotch quality of life for all its employees. Taking her cue from these expectations, Tanya leads a very fulfilling life with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and one inherited cat. Despite the hustle of school and soccer games and work and life, Tanya is able to carve out time for yoga, crafts, skiing, quilting, softball, cross-stitching, and family road trips to Iowa where husband Paul’s 92-year-old grandmother still runs a huge farm! And now, Tanya has added body combat training to her physical activity menu.
Does she stress out over the busy-ness of life? Not anymore. In fact, Tanya's trick to living a fully rewarding life is not to sweat the small stuff. Call it her get-rich-quick scheme.
She says, “Treasure the small stuff and your life will be very rich.”
