The first true credit card was called the "Diners Club® Card" and was introduced in 1950.
For those old enough to remember, the telephone pager was invented in 1949.
The first red and green traffic lights were invented in Salt Lake City in 1912.
It was 1903 when the Wright Brothers completed the first airplane flight.
Do you know what else happened in 1903? The State of Massachusetts became the first to issue car license plates.
Ever use a paperclip? It was invented in 1899.
Move back a little closer to today and think about the history of 1937.
That was the year the synthetic fiber "nylon" was invented.
The Golden Gate Bridge was open, first to pedestrian traffic, then to automobiles.
